Shipping your handpieces to us
Independent dental handpiece repair from our Deer Park, NY workshop, shipping nationwide.
We repair handpieces mailed in from anywhere in the United States. Getting yours here takes one box and a label, and the postage is on us.
Print the reply label
Print the label below and tape it to the outside of your box. Postage is already paid, so do not add stamps. Print it at 100% — in your print dialog choose Actual size, not Fit to page. The barcode has to stay the size the Post Office expects or the piece is returned to you.
If you would rather we did it, start a repair request and tell us how many handpieces you are sending. We will email a prepaid label back to you.
What to put in the box
- Your practice name, and the name of the person we should contact.
- A phone number and an email address for the quote.
- A list of the handpieces inside, with brand and model.
- What each one is doing wrong — noise, no power, running hot, chuck not holding, water spray weak.
Pack them so they cannot rattle against each other, and keep the box small enough to be handled normally. We do not need the boxes, the syringes or the tubing — just the handpieces.

Keep the tracking number from your receipt. Email it to contact@dentalworksinc.com and we will know it is on its way and watch the door for it.
What happens next
We inspect and diagnose every handpiece that arrives. You get a written quote per handpiece, and nothing is rebuilt until you approve the price. Most repairs ship back within 2–3 business days of your approval, and high-speed repairs carry a 6-month parts & labor warranty.
